Personally, a bit of Charlie Brown is needed each and every Christmas. It is a reminder of the true meaning of this time of year, a reminder of what we are celebrating. Along with the classic film are the classic tunes from Vince Guaraldi... Tunes that I never seem to tire of, tunes that continue to carry my mind to a relaxed disposition. This past weekend my Italian and I listened to these tunes once again, but this time performed live in a local East Atlanta spot, while the film played on the stage's backdrop... We both got that warm, fuzzy feeling listening to the familiar jazz tunes. And the images of A Charlie Brown Christmas are simply magic... What a glorious site to be surrounded by Christmas trees of all colors, shapes and sizes... Purples, pinks, reds and golds (even though the most perfect tree was pitiful at first glance).
With a little love it sparkled... And so, with that comes the inspiration behind these images which all convey a bit of Bling!
