As a follow up to last week's Q&A with B&B Italia's Regional Sales Manager, Kevin Woodard, here are a few of the latest and greatest items inside the Milan showroom on Via Durini, as described by Kevin.
Husk chair by Patricia Urquiola. "This is an interesting piece with a moulded plastic shell to resemble the cushions. The shell is made of Hirek composite, which is made of previously used polyethylenes and can be broken down and reused in the future, and the shell is possible in four colors, Red, Black, Yellow, and White. With three sizes, the multi-pillow type seat is almost like sitting on a big puff jacket. The chair is a cool marriage of technology, Pop fun, and comfort."
"Beverly is an extremely elegant armchair that is like jewelry for a room. Available in high or low back with a die-cast aluminum frame, bright brushed or black chromed with thick leather or leather trimmed cotton cloth in six color combinations. Although this is a large lounge chair, engineering of the frame allows it to fold. A new interpretation and for sure a future classic for B&B Italia."
"With the 10th anniversary of the original Landscape this year a new, modern, rocker version is introduced. The piece has become a modern classic for B&B Italia and sure to continue. Also for one year only a 3D small optional mattress has been developed by Kvadrat exclusive for B&B Italia and is available in seven colors."
Grazie mille Kev!
